Singapore Virtual - March Performance

Author: admin  |  Category: Uncategorized
Dear Members,

Singapore Virtual is pleased to be the first Virtual Airline to cross the 10,000 hour mark in total hours clocked by our pilots. We are also pleased to be the only Virtual Airline which has doubled its assets, from the initial capital of $5.37 billion to what it is now, $11.18 billion. Our capital was much lower than any other major carrier on Simmiles, and we thank our pilots for our achievement. Also, we would like to thank our shareholders for their confidence in us, and continuing to purchase our stocks, especially Star Alliance partner, Continental Virtual. We are glad that you have profited from our stocks.

Statistics for the month of March are as follows:
Gain in Networth: $75,434,354.86
Hours Flown: 866.3
Number of Flights Flown: 153
Number of Passengers Carried: 56,018
Number of Aircraft Added: 2
Number of Scheduled Flights Added: 18
Average Hours Per Flight: 5.66
Average Profits Per Flight: $493,035

Singapore Virtual Totals as of 1 April 2010:
Assets: $11,179,064,222.26
Flights Flown: 1610
Hours Flown: 10,028.5
Passengers Carried: 594,175
Scheduled Flights: 166
Fleet Size: 44
Average Hours Per Flight: 6.23

On top of that, our subsidiaries, Silkair Virtual and Singapore Airlines Cargo Virtual, are also recording strong growth, and are growing at a steady rate everyday. We would like to thank the Simmiles staff who have been a great help and supporting us all the way, and our pilots who have been a great pushing force for us.

Warmest Regards,

G’day all

Here is a brief look at the first quarter results for Korean Air Virtual.

Kal Virtual has flown for more than 700 hours, carrying over 32,000 passengers to 14 destinations and making a profit of $ 27,263,138 million dollars.

Fleet Statistics: 22 aircraft

We currently have: 7 x B747-400 / 4 x B777-200 / 3 x B777-300 / 3 x B737-800 / 3 x A330-200 / 2 x A330-300

Fleet usage percentages:  747-400 = 66% / 777-200 = 12% / 777-300 = 11% / 737-800 = 4% / 330-200 = 5% / 330-300 = 2%

Fleet Usage

This great start has only been possible by the efforts and support from the pilots at Kal Virtual. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of them for their help.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter from everyone at Korean Air Virtual.

Singapore Virtual Undergoes Fleet Renewal

Author: admin  |  Category: Uncategorized

Greetings!

Singapore Virtual has purchased 2 Airbus A330-300 widebody aircraft, in preparation for our progressive fleet renewal programme starting 28th March. The Airbus A330-300s will be replacing the older Boeing 777-200s on some of our operations to the Middle East and the Maldives. We will be adopting a progressive approach to keep up with real world Singapore Airlines’ fleet renewal programme.

From 28th March, Singapore Virtual will be serving Zurich on the Airbus A380-800 instead of the usual B777-300ER, by using a spare slot on one of our A380-800 aircraft, without a need to buy a new one. Singapore-Abu Dhabi-Kuwait, Singapore-Abu Dhabi-Jeddah and Singapore-Male will also be served by our new A330-300s, instead of the Boeing 777-200s. These changes are aimed at keeping in line with real world Singapore Airlines, who will also be implementing these changes on 28th March 2010. These changes will also see Singapore Virtual doing a restructuring of its fleet, with the decommissioning of 3 older Boeing 777-200 aircraft.

On a side note, Singapore Virtual would like to welcome the new management team of Star Alliance codeshare partner, Air Canada Virtual, and we wish Air Canada Virtual a promising future ahead.

Singapore Cargo Virtual has also started making its first sign of profits, just within its first week of operations, and we are glad that our profits have been significant and consistent throughout the year across the parent company Singapore Virtual and our 2 subsidiaries, Silkair Virtual and Singapore Cargo Virtual, thanks to the support of our committed pilots.

Philippine Airlines, Fleet and Route Expansion

Author: admin  |  Category: Uncategorized

Philippine Airlines Virtual (PALv), has launched new flights and introduced new aircraft to its fleet over the past few days. Coinciding with Philippine Airlines launch of its second Boeing 777-300ER (Boeing 777-36NER/RP-C7776), PALv has launched new direct 777 flights from Manila to Sydney and Melbourne, in the coming days we will be restructuring our Australian flights with these new 777 aircraft, which will mean the introduction of PAL’s new Manila-Melbourne-Brisbane-Manila triangle route, which is expected to be flown with the Airbus A330-300, this new Manila-Brisbane via Melbourne flight will be launched in a couple of days.

Philippine Airlines Virtual has also introduced new flights with the Boeing 747-400 (RP-C7471) to Riyadh, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this is the first middle eastern flight flown by PAL for years, and can be flown now onboard RP-C7471. We expect to update regional flights and frequencies to Singapore and Japan thanks to the freed up frequencies of our Airbus A330-300 fleet due to the capacity increase from the introduction of the Boeing 777-300ER to our fleet. Remember to view our News Section on the Website for continous updates on the airline, as well as our messageboards.

We also hope you can visit the new vACC Vatsim Philippines website, thanks to the guys for that!

Singapore Airlines Cargo Virtual Opens Its Doors

Author: admin  |  Category: Uncategorized

Dear Members,

Singapore Airlines Cargo Virtual is proud to the first of its kind here on Simmiles, as a subsidiary of mainstream Singapore Airlines Virtual. The cargo division will run as a separate entity with separate statistics from the mainstream carrier. We currently own a fleet of 9 Boeing 747-400F freighters, which we will use for our North American, European, African and Middle East operations. The European market will be our focus for now, with our secondary hubs in Brussels and Sharjah, where we will base some of our operations.

Unlike normal passenger flights, a cargo flight does quite a number of hops around the world before returning back to base. Such a system would allow our pilots to gain more exposure in flying in foreign territories, where we have to step out of our comfort zone and be familiar with other airports and airspace. Our pilots strongly welcome this new cargo division, and there is support from them to expand our operations, and establish the Singapore Virtual brand as a strong one, here on the Simmiles network.

Singapore Virtual and its subsidiaries, Silkair and Singapore Airlines Cargo, are very open to partnerships with other Virtual Airlines, and we look forward to establish a lasting partnership with interested Virtual Airline partners. Singapore Airlines Cargo is part of the WOW network in the real world, which is a cargo alliance between SAS Cargo, JAL Cargo and SIA Cargo. Should SASv and JALv decide to open cargo divisions, we are very much open for negotiations for a cargo partnership, which benefits all involved.

Singapore Virtual would like to thank all its pilots for their support for the past 1 year of operations, and we cannot thank them enough for bringing us this far. Our pilots have been a very great team, and it has shown us how our active and motivated human resource has established us as one of the leading Virtual Airlines on Simmiles.

Warmest Regards,
Lester Lee
