Hewa Bora Airways Virtual has changed the seating configuration of 9Q-CHD to an all First Class seating layout and the registration to 9Q-ROI. The Director of VATCAF (Sir Thomas Mathieu) will be using the aircraft to travel between Kinshasa and Goma on VIP virtual airline flights.
Recently there has been alot of violence in that part of the world and the instability continues. These virtual airline flights will allow officials to travel to the region to oversee the United Nations operations currently underway. Goma (FZNA) is the airport at which Hewa Bora Airways Virtual lost it’s only DC-9-50 aircraft when it crashed into the mountain after taking off in thick fog.
